As a family-owned operation, we want to ensure our customers aren’t just getting the best rest they can on the best mattress for them, but we also want to be a tool for education and tips. We stand behind the quality of our projects and know that we’re able to offer you a personalized experience that will make you happy in the long run. Read on to find out what services we offer.
Our goal is to offer you the kind of selection that has enough options for everyone to get a perfect night’s sleep. It’s important to work closely with you to figure out exactly what you need in a mattress–as each model is different and offers a different sleeping experience. That’s why we offer you sleep tips and shopping tips to help you make an informed decision. Beyond that, we also offer a variety of mattress types that are all unique in their own way.
Innerspring, Encased Coil, Firm, Plush and Pillowtops
The most common kind of consumer mattresses are innerspring and encased coil constructions. This is likely what you’re already sleeping on right now, as they’re the traditional kind of bed. Spring mattresses have a box spring base, mattress springs, and padding layers, all supported by metal coils. It’s not all that simple though as there are many kinds of different spring systems in use. Usually, the more coils the better as the mattress will contour and support you even better. These kinds of mattresses can also vary in what materials are used for the sleeping surface, from quilting to memory foam.
By now, you’ve certainly heard of the wave of memory foam mattresses and pillows that have become increasingly more popular. They’re great for people who suffer from chronic pains because of their unique construction. What goes into a memory foam mattress? There are a few layers to it, but it starts with a high-density foam at its core. The outer layer is comprised of a specific foam design that can vary in thickness and density, resulting in a mattress that contours perfectly to your body. It’s meant to be reactive and contour to what your body needs. Plus, it’ll also prevent allergens from collecting throughout your bed, which makes it great for people who have allergies or asthma.
Adjustable foundation beds are just as they sound–you’re able to adjust the head or foot of the mattress. You use a switch or remote control to set it to your liking. Each adjustable bed comes in a wide variety of constructions, but all of them allow for the mid-section to fold as needed. Our Serta Adjustable Foundations help with a large variety of medical needs and also allow you to use your laptop easily in bed or make watching TV in bed a breeze.
It isn’t just important to get the right shape and type of mattress for your body. You need the correct size as well. We’re happy to offer all of the traditional sizes for whatever needs you may have. Getting the proper bed means getting the right sleep, and that’s why we encourage you to come into the store, try out a few different models, and work with us to get expert help on choosing the mattress you need.
Twin sized mattresses are the smallest bed available. They’re 38-inches wide by 75-inches long, making it ideal for either children or single adults. They’re great for more compact living spaces so if your room size is a concern, you may need a twin mattress.
These full mattresses are slightly larger than twin sized, with the same length but a bit more wide, as they are 54-inches wide and 75-inches long. These are sometimes referred to as “double” sized beds. At 16-inches wider than a twin bed, they may be ideal for spare spaces like guest rooms, where they will offer a bit more luxury than a twin bed without breaking the bank.
Queen sized beds are really the most popular size out there. At 60-inches wide and 80-inches long, you’ll enjoy the luxury of having space to move around. Couples, or just those who want more space to toss and turn at night, will definitely enjoy the size of the queen bed. They’re perfect for master bedrooms that are at least 10 x 10 square feet.
King sized beds are extra wide. They’re 76-inches wide by 80-inches long, giving you that extra 16-inch buffer of wiggle room. These beds are pure luxury and are really meant to make you feel, well, like a king. Your bedroom needs to be spacious to accommodate this large bed, preferably 12 x 10 square feet.
